Helping Improve Lives with Our Time as Well as Our Products
Trimeris is dedicated to helping patients affected by viral diseases with not only our products, but also our time. As a company, Trimeris donates to, and participates in, several local programs and events that help support the health and well-being of HIV patients. Organizations with which we’re involved include:
Alliance of AIDS Services (Carolina)
The Alliance serves people with HIV/AIDS and their families through direct services such as providing transportation to medical appointments, providing skilled nursing services, prevention education, faith-based programs, food pantries, counseling, and advocacy in local communities.
Trimeris supports many of the Alliance’s programs, including participating in the annual AIDS Walk and Ride and helping with the Orange House (a group home for people living with HIV).
AIDS Community Residence Association (ACRA)
Located in Durham, North Carolina, ACRA operates a group home and apartments for persons living with HIV and other disabilities. ACRA also offers emergency rent and utility assistance to HIV+ persons. Trimeris is proud to support their invaluable services for the many people in need within our local community.
